Business Development Representative

PayAnalytics is a world-leading pay equity software solution used by employers around the world to ensure the salaries they offer are fair. The solution measures pay gaps, gives concrete suggestions on how to close them, and supports real-time decisions regarding salary changes and new hire salaries so that pay gaps don’t reappear. The solution works for both gender pay gaps (male, female, non-binary) and for pay gaps related to any other demographic groups, such as race, nationality, or age.

When it comes to bringing fairness into all salary decisions, the PayAnalytics team is pushing the envelope, and we are looking for a Business Development Representative to join us.

Who are our customers?

Our customers are companies, municipalities, government institutions, and HR and compensation consultants and law firms. Our solution is being used in workplaces ranging from 30 to 140,000 employees. Our users are in over 75 countries on six continents and are in every corner of the economy.

Our shared vision is that it should be easy for all organizations around the world to close their pay gaps. We are a family-friendly workplace headquartered in Gróska, Reykjavík, but we fully support remote work and have team members in Sweden, Germany, Spain and the US.

Our sales and marketing and software development teams maintain close communication. Our business development representatives listen to customer needs and are empowered to suggest product improvements and enhancements. What will you do?

Your mission is to initiate sales conversations across different markets with the goal of identifying sales prospects – companies that want to make progress in closing their pay gaps. Using multiple channels (email, phone and social media), you will research and contact sales prospects and generate interest in PayAnalytics. Once potential customers are identified, you will schedule demonstrations of the software and develop relationships. In this role, you will work closely with PayAnalytics’ Chief Business Development Officer.

Who are you?

You are results-driven, with exceptional organizational and follow-up skills. You are a gifted communicator who is adept at connecting with a variety of people. Your customer service and explanatory skills are exceptional. You have an educational background in marketing, human resource management or another relevant field. Excellent English language abilities (verbal and written) are vital to this role. You are a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset.
